FEBRUARY 21 at 5:00 in Dewberry Hall:
Nada Ahmad Abdul-Salam Majdalani, 21, a Palestinian living in Ramallah. She has studied biology at Birzeit University and is also a talented musician and actress. Through her involvement with OneVoice she has received leadership training and engaged in various anti-extremism and pro-democracy movements within Palestine. Eyal Bino, 28, is of Iraqi-Jewish origin and was born and raised in Bat-Yam near Tel-Aviv. Eyal currently works with Ben-Or Communications, an independent PR company. He volunteers with OneVoice because he believes in dialogue and progress in the Middle East toward a Two-State solution to the conflict. Hope to see you there!

I guess she's *extremely* pro-zionist then, because given the context that's all I can imagine "anti-extremism" to mean.

Well. It's from a palistinian group so probably not un-friendly to their cause. It's a fairly moderate group that is more about separating the politics from the people then going around and indiscriminately jew-bashing. They had a comedy night with a palistinian american and jewish american last year. I didn't actually get to go see them though. (This group. I went to the comedians and that was pretty fun.)
